Why not just get a tank?

There are a few reasons why people don’t want a tank.

  1. For many, a tank is an eyesore and takes up considerable room in their yard.
  2. In drought stricken times, if there’s no rain, there’s no water.  Unless you go to the expense of having water delivered, which is time consuming and an expensive option.  Depending on the size of your property, you will need to get a lot of water delivered and regularly.
  3. It would take some time and many days rain to fill a 5000 litre tank, particularly if you only have 1 down pipe.
  4. To water an average garden would easily consume 2-3,000 litres of water per watering cycle.
  5. You will need to pay to divert all your existing down pipes to the new tank system.
  6. A tank is not going to help you in those summer months, when you need it most, if it doesn’t rain.

Is the quality of bore water any good?

Water quality varies from place to place and The Drilling Group will arrange to send a sample of your bore water to Southern Rural Water for analysis.  Based on their findings, a chemical treatment can be applied.

How much mess will be caused drilling a bore on my property?

The Drilling Group have manufactured their own baffled bins.  Their unique design reduces the amount of mud spill, thereby significantly reducing the amount of mess caused in the process.

Upon completion of all work undertaken by The Drilling Group, our specialised team ensures your property is left in the same state prior to their arrival.
